Barbara Holloway, 75, left us on March 29th, 2019, with her family by her side at Bruceville Terrace nursing facility. Some of her final words were “I love everybody”
Barbara, who was affectionately known as “Jean” was born January 24th, 1944, in San Bernardino CA to Casper James Holloway and Mildred Herd. She confessed to Christ at an early age. Jean graduated from Fremont Adult School in 1996. Barbara and partner, Roosevelt Williams, Produced six wonderful children together and she loved her role as homemaker. Jean enjoyed western cinema and drawing geographic figures. Jean was a charitable woman taking in countless needy family members over the years into her home. The collection of figurines and memorability was important to Jean. She saved every card, school record and achievement of her children and grandchildren over a span of many years. She was a kind and humble spirit who loved her family deeply and didn’t want to leave them, Jean fought very hard to stay with us Jean was preceded in death by daughter Yvette Holloway and son Tyrone Alfred Williams
Jean is survived by five children, Roosevelt Williams Jr., Gregory Williams, Yvette Williams, Tyrell Williams and Leigh Williams; Four grandchildren, Tamara Williams, Solomon Williams, Abraham Williams and Andrew “Drew” Harp. She will be missed by a host of siblings, nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
