Lora D. Campbell, affectionately called Diane was born in Merced CA on October 14, 1950 to John & Rose Perkins. She ascended in to heaven on August 3, 2018 in San Francisco, CA. at the age of 67. Although born and raised in Merced she was a long-time resident of Sacramento. Diane attended El Rodeo Merced High School graduating in 1969. She relocated to Sacramento soon thereafter, attending Sacramento City College to study Cosmetology. She later pursued other interest having a 20 year plus career as an Account Clerk II with the City of Sacramento until her retirement. She gave her life to Christ and was baptized at Moments of Blessings House of Prayer in Sacramento early on. A few years later she became a 20 year long standing member of St. Jude Christian Tabernacle until her illness prevented her from attending. Diane loved her family and especially her grandchildren endlessly. She had a loving and kind soul that most that met her always felt her warmth and gentle spirit.
Diane leaves to cherish her devoted husband of 36 years Fred H. Campbell Jr; her loving son's Billy Murrel (Selina) & Fred H. Campbell III (Mary), step-son Yaphet Campbell; Step-daughter Lisa Redd, Baltimore Maryland. Her beautiful grandchildren, Treyvon & Billy Murrel Jr; Allie & Ian Campbell; step-grandchildren Erin & Yaphet Campbell Jr; & Daryl Wade & David Best of Baltimore, Maryland. Her loving sisters and brothers; Lynette, Lynell, John Jr, Andy & Tony Perkins. Her special Aunt's, Bertha Mc Murray, Merced CA & Lily Jones, Tualatin, Oregon, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents John & Rose Perkins & sister Linda Perkins & brother Steve Perkins.
