Louise Virginia Staples was born on June 25, 1915, in Clark Fork, Missouri to the late Laura Shirley Nelson, and departed this life on July 13, 2019.
Louise went to school in Boonville, Missouri. In 1942, she and her husband, Robert O. Staples, Sr., moved to San Francisco, California. Louise was employed at Franklin Hospital and also worked part-time for Wells Fargo Bank.
In 1979, Louise retired and in 1981 moved to Sacramento with her husband where she resided until the good Lord called her home. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, her mother, stepfather and sister. She is survived by her son, Robert Staples, Jr.; granddaughter, Lisa Singleton; great-grandchildren, Cecil and Jasmine Singleton; great-great-grandchildren, Michael and Jean Singleton; also, her nephews, Walter Wright, Sr. and wife, Tracy, and Reverend Robert Greene and wife, Myrna; as well as her niece, Marian Larkin; a cousin, Toney Orr; her dear friend, Ann Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
