Perry Kurt Stribling was born to Clyde, Jr. and Eddie Jean Stribling on May 8, 1961, in Sacramento, California. He was the second of four children. He is survived by his wife Cecilia Stribling, both parents, siblings, Sandra Harris and Richard and Leslie Stribling, nieces, Jessica Harris and Sienna Dancer, nephews, Jason Harris and Dominique and Donovan Sanders, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Perry began his life growing up in Courtland, near the river, where he played in the pear orchards and relished in the joys of childhood. His family moved to Sacramento which became his lifelong home that provided opportunities to flourish and develop his most precious relationships.
While attending Luther Burbank High School, Perry met and later married his high school sweetheart, Cecilia. They shared a life together for 38 years. ln 1994, he joined Shiloh Baptist Church and became an usher and President of the Sacramento District Valley. His career was filled with working for the State of California, operating his business, Precision Wireless, and most recently wireless contract work; contributing over 30 years of exemplary knowledge and expertise to the technology industry.
Perry was a distinguished gentleman who lived with class and personified a quiet, strong, and refined presence. His ability to think deeply, pursue and achieve dreams, and desire to have a good time led to a life well-lived. His hosting of Kentucky Derby days, a penchant for sharp ties and shoes, contribution of cream pies to family gatherings, distinctive smile, and chuckle, and witty banter during NBA Finals' games will be forever missed.
Perry, it has been an honor, privilege, and pleasure to be part of your life.
