Deacon Robert C. Washington Sr. was born July 27, 1954, to Lena and RC Washington in Conroe, TX. At the age of 11, he made his way to Sacramento, CA. He gave himself to Christ at a very young age and went on to graduate from Sacramento High School. He was a great baseball star in his day and loved every minute of it.
He had some struggles in life, but made his way to a great nine-year recovery and moved his way up to become a dedicated and inspiring Recovery Counselor. He also became a devoted Deacon and enjoyed every moment of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents Lena and RC Washington.
He leaves behind his two children, daughter Sheree Washington, son Robert Washington, Jr., twelve beautiful grandchildren, and five siblings sisters Faye, Lois, Rheda Washington, Maude Schmitt and one brother Larry D. Washington and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.
