On the 22nd day of February 1944, Sarah Lou Roberts was born to JW and Sarah Jane Roberts in Silsbee, Texas. Affectionately known as Frances Jean Roberts. Sarah Lou was the third child of fourteen. Her parents moved to California in 1953.
Sarah Lewis preceded in death by her parents, sisters Eva Lois Watts, Gloria Jean Brown, and Sharon Louise Roberts. A God-fearing single mother of nine beautiful loving children, she was highly educated graduating from high school and going on to college. An avid reader, our mother was very spiritual, a wise and knowledgeable woman, a notary, working for the Census Bureau in the state of California as a legal secretary. Sarah Lou study to be an ordained Pastor it was known as Pastor Roberts.
She was married to Philemon Dunigan Sr and second husband Arthur Jasper Sr.
She leaves to cherish her love and memories and everlasting love to her dedicated children Andreas Williams, Jethro Geiger (Natalie), Maretta Lee (Ivan), Rowena Robert (Pinnell), William Woodfin (Denise), Tameka Woodfin, Akila Jasper (Leo), Arthur Jasper Jr. (April) and Aaron Jasper(Toshanna); thirty grandchildren twenty-two great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Edna Roberts, Linda Grier, Elise Brown, J.W Roberts Jr., Rodney Roberts, Melvin Roberts and Sandra Roberts; nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
